PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

ETHAN CORDOVA ROCHA
Bachelor of Interior Design (Commercial)
Certificate IV in Residential Drafting

I am Ethan Cordova, originally from Mexico, I have been residing in Australia over the last 4 years. I am a recent graduate from Billy Blue College of Design (Torrens University) with a Bachelor of Interior Design (Commercial). Over the course of my academic journey, I have cultivated critical and analytical thinking methods, honed graphic representation skills, and developed proficiency in technical drawing.
My passion for transforming spaces to enhance well-being began in childhood when I found joy in continuously redesigning my bedroom. Each layout shift—whether placing my bed near the fish tank or arranging my breakfast table next to a plant pot—brought a renewed sense of energy and comfort to the space. This early experience sparked a lifelong interest in the emotional impact of environments, ultimately leading me to pursue a career in interior design when I became an adult.

After finishing my bachelor's degree in interior design I learned creative and design thinking skills, as well as 3D modeling and Revit abilities. Moreover, I gained expertise in the National Construction Code and Australian standards. With all of these tools, I became a designer with a deep consideration towards the end user, I feel ready to enter the workforce and create spaces and experiences for people.

As a professional interior designer, I believe interior design is an impactful tool to enhance human well-being and improve life quality.
